SMS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Program Description

Alba Group (“Alba Group,” “we,” “us”) sends operational, account-related text messages to its own contracted drivers and staff regarding assigned loads, rate confirmations, pickup and delivery details, and weekly pay settlements. This is a private operational messaging program — it is not a marketing or promotional program.

How You Opt In (Consent)

Drivers opt in during onboarding: the driver enters their mobile number and checks a consent box (unchecked by default) agreeing to receive operational text messages from Alba Group. Consent is captured and stored on the driver’s onboarding/consent form. We only send messages to drivers who have opted in.

Consent is optional and is not required to be hired, contracted, or paid. Drivers who choose not to receive texts get the same information by phone call, email, or paper.

Example Messages

  • “Alba Group: Load #12345 assigned — PU Chicago, IL 7/8 8:00 AM; DEL Dallas, TX 7/9. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”
  • “Alba Group: Your settlement for the week of 7/1–7/7 is ready, net pay $1,600. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on load and pay activity (recurring messages).

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, opt in again as you did during onboarding.
